The Southeast Connecticut Writers’ Exchange
The Southeast Connecticut Writers’ Exchange provides peer support for area writers of all types.
Monthly meetings focus on writing topics requested by members. Character development, plot cohesion, factual confirmation, clarity and hooking the reader are a few examples of subjects discussed. Authors can also present specific writing questions for the group to consider.
The next meeting will be June 5th from 6:30 to 8 at the home of Steve Dorfman, 7 Birch St. Waterford. Interested writers can contact Steve @ sdorfman1@sbcglobal.net or 860-442-7334.
The Southeast Connecticut Writers’ Exchange also matches writers wanting to give and receive peer support. Matches determine the time, place, and type of feedback that’s best for them. This is often useful for authors to get a fresh perspective on their work. Matches are not confined to writers of similar genres, content or style. Honest and accurate feedback is always encouraged.
Interested members can also receive support for preparing to read at different writing venues such as the Mystic Writer’s Colony.
Thanks for sharing the really nice information .
